A person died and 10 others were injured when a bus they were travelling by turned turtle at Kamal Village Council-5 in Jhapa district.
According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, , the deceased has been identified as Nita Bista, 30.
The incident occurred when the bus (Ba 3 Kha 7815) tried to give side to a bike coming from opposite direction.
The injured are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Biratnagar and Damak.
Similarly, Nitu Thakur, 16, died after she was hit by a truck (Na 1 Kha 5200) at Kachanrup in Saptari district.
She breathed her last while being rushed to a hospital, police said.
Likewise, a cyclist died after being hit a by a tipper (Na 1 Ka 5365) at Sambhunath Municipality of Saptari district.
Police identified the deceased as Kisan Sada, 23, of the same municipality.
